Yes they are. It wasn’t that way 20 years ago. Sutphen had a sprinkling of loyal customers in Fl. Orlando FD, Boca Raton FD etc. it was mostly Pierce and EOne market. Then something happened. I guess the right sales team. In the last 10-15 years Sutphen has deeply penetrated the Florida Market. Miami Dade , Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach County, Boca Raton, and departments all over the state including a strong presence on Fl west coast. Sutphen is still a family owned company much like Saulsbury used to be. They build a solid rig with nice fit and finish. The South Florida Sutphen Dealer appears to have a solid reputation for service after the sale. Pierce struggled with service in South Florida particularly its pompano service center off powerline road. Always waiting for parts.
