Firefighter Louis Salzano – June 26, 1987
After 20 years of dedicated service at Engine Co.23,
Firefighter Salzano became a Fire Marshall.He passed away
after suffering a heart attack after working a 24-hour tour
investigating an arson case.While a member of Engine Co.23,
Salzano served as a union delegate.He is survived by his son,
Michael, who carries on the tradition as a firefighter in Florida.
