@1711: Field Comm.: Div. 11 reports at 137 Belvedere Street, near Broadway, five lines stretched, four lines in operation, all visible fire knocked down, 2 lines in fire building, 2 lines in Exposure #4, primary searches negative, secondaries underway, fire still doubtful.  Fire duration is 46 minutes.

@1718: Engine 319 acting Engine 271 is 10-8.

@1719: Field Comm: Div. 11: fire building is 3 story frame 25 x 50, secondary searches in the fire building are negative, secondary searches in exposure #4 still underway.  Still opening up and checking for pockets of fire in Exp. #4, fire is probably will hold.

Bn. 58 relocating to Bn 28.

@1721: Ladder 163 acting Ladder 106 is 10-8.

@1731: Div. 11 requests additional truck for relief: Ladder 176 s/c.

@1734: Field Comm: Div. 11: secondary search of Exp. #4 complete and negative, continue with probably will hold due to extensive overhauling.

@1741: Field Comm: Div. 11 reports fire is under control and requests an additional truck for overhauling.  Fire duration is one hour fifteen minutes.  Ladder 118 s/c.

Would seem to be a strange location where the first four engine companies ( 217, 218, 230, and 237) are all single engine firehouses.

 Yes, someone asked why do truck companies (108, 111, 112, 176) in that area have such high OSW numbers and that is the reason. ;)

I asked that  ;D  JohnD crazy location was right, every surrounding company was an engine, 3 engines in first? One musta did a search, maybe even broke a few windows :)
