SHOCK

1. Monitor the airway.
2. Observe spinal injury precautions, if appropriate. (See Protocol #421.)
3. Administer oxygen.
4. Control external bleeding.
5. Request Advanced Life Support assistance.
6. Transport.
7. Monitor vital signs.
8. Elevate the legs.
9. Treat all injuries as appropriate.

Maintain body temperature.
