Unless it was a mixed up response I can't see 8 engine being second due nor even on the first alarm for that matter.

SPECIAL CALL
E034P, E044H, E021, L004, BC09, HM01, HB01

BC9 became available, L4 didn’t get on the radio to call available but got on scene same time as TL35 but TL35 operated as the first truck… L4 was assigned on the extra engine on truck with E34. BC9 took over the fire and BC8 was the 7-5 Chief…. BC7 went T8…. E21 was the watch Line engine.

Happened to walk by FH around 17:50 and L4 and E54 were parked on Eighth Ave immediately south of the FH Entrance

Looked in the window and there was E80
