3511 the HS I went to was two blocks from the Qtrs of 40 & 35 ,but at that time, '55, they were on 63rd St. bet Columbus & Amsterdam, BTW the HS was at 40 Amsterdam and the other address was 161 W.61st ST.

Mack, I think the house on Jay St. was where L 118 was, I don't believe 108 was in that Firehouse. Ladder 108 was put on Seigel St. after Eng 218 moved to their NEW (LOL) house on Hart St. sometime in the 1890's.
