Everything was over the air. We survived. Although many Engines in Brooklyn had incidents where EMS was needed and not dispatched properly

I hope that person is fired, not just not allowed to work on this equipment! According to the article the switch was very clearly marked, if he had read that instead of just automatically opening the cover and pushing the button the problem probably would not have occurred.

You would be firing the wrong person. The people that need to be fired are the ones that designed the equipment and the one that gave final approval.

They need to go back to the old way and get rid of these PSACS!
