Crews from Cincinnati Fire Department were called to a house fire in the Evanston neighborhood earlier this evening. They found a small fire in the third floor/attic space of a home. According to dispatch audio, the homeowner attempted to extinguish the fire prior to CFD arrival. Two ladders were extended and E46 hooked up the hydrant. The incident was handled by a still alarm compliment with an additional engine (E23 cleared a previous run and added themselves to this) along with additional district chief and Assistant Chief-Fire Prevention Division (Car 5) who were apparently nearby (C5 was first on scene).
Units dispatched: Engine 46, Engine 32, Engine 23, Ladder 23, Ladder 32, Ladder 19 (RAT), Heavy Rescue 9, Medic 19, District 4, District 1, Car 5
