How is a company determined OOS for being understaffed? Many companies are still in service despite having 3-4 FFs only. What’s the basis for determining they can’t be staffed? I’d imagine it’s maybe 2FF?

Early this morning I heard E293 (Woodhaven, Queens) relocating to E159 on Staten Island.

So what's the end game with all this? Do firefighters stay on unpaid leave indefinitely?until the city fires them? until the mayor relents?

Truly hope this doesn't cause any hard feelings between guys who got the shot and had to work short handed, extensive ot, cancelled vacations, possibly loose mutuals, etc and those who decided not to take the jab. Because the beef really is between the mayor & top brass vs the members.

No bad blood amongst members. All of the angst is against FDNY brass, namely nigro, and deblasio

As of today, the FDNY has 1,700 firefighters on unpaid leave. Some of the members that are on sick leave say that they took the vac shot, but have affects from the shot. As per channel 5 news.
My landlord advised me today he has covid-19 as he picked up my rent 🤦‍♂️

He's fully vaccinated, so am i, I guess we'll see what happens
