I heard engine 505 in Manhattan twice today taking in EMS runs.  Does anyone know why they are operating?

There was another Reserve Engine on the run in Da Bronx the other day. Think maybe something to do with the weather

Engine 505 covers the west side piers. Extra.unit that runs out of 54 when they have cruise ships in port fueling. They tend.to get.a few ems  runs while on the pier.
