I'm glad your issues have been corrected. I'm still with the dumpster fire, really appreciating notifications of brush fires in the UK and areas of the US that I have no interest in . . . FFS

On the new Android version, there doesn't appear to be notification sounds, unlike the previous app. This new app is no question a train wreck. Not sure who the app developer is, but I'd be demanding my money back from them.
