WFPS will not be sending further resources to this incident, no other companies are available at this time citywide.

Not much known at the moment, might buff it if it goes on the news, but current assignment is as follows: Call placed 17:53:16 E14, 26, 27 L13 SQ5 R22*, 9* D3, 74 GATOR91 A40 * Rescue Engines, sort of equiv. to Squads in the FDNY

    Rundown of units at 9-11

I believe, based on radio traffic posted on YouTube, E14 was relocating into a Manhattan house and, after the second hit, was told to remain in service upon asking to be assigned.

    New Seagraves

That would make sense. This was their rig back in the day, so it would make sense that, given their status as an HMTU, they’d want a newer one after the job took the old one. Though I wouldn’t put it past the brass to realize that maybe all of the HMTUs should have a squad pumper, given they’ve...

    New Seagraves

Please forgive me if I seem clueless or incompetent, but what’s the deal with 165 supposedly getting a Squad-pattern pumper? The good captain has said in the rear mounts’ thread that 165 is getting one, and it’s to my understanding that they’re a HMTU, but the others don’t have Squad-pattern...

    7/26/25 Manhattan 10-75 Box 1662

I have nothing to add to this thread, but I was scrolling and did a double-take, thinking I saw Box 1622 instead of 1662. I was seriously thinking the members were sent back to that shithole, given it seems to be a magnet for multiple alarms and member injuries. Thankfully not this time, yeah?

    Ladder 12, RMA to TL

Does anyone happen to know when Ladder 12 went from an RMA to an aerialscope, and if any other companies sweet-talked the Job into getting one as well around the same time? I’m not sure if it was the same mistake made by L6’s Captain before Jay Jonas got the post and brought them back to a TDA...

    HazMat Incidents and 10-codes

Indeed. I did recognize it as outdated, just based on the 10-80, given that if one code is altered, chances are high that the Job would alter several just to make the paperwork easier.

    HazMat Incidents and 10-codes

I might be making a clown of myself, but this is the site that I pulled it from, and spawned my question given its thoroughness in description of responses: https://fdnyfloridaretirees.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/FDNY-10-CODES.pdf Thanks for answering, I’ll possibly ask more questions after...

    HazMat Incidents and 10-codes

I’ve been looking at the Job’s 10-codes for a while, and the codes for HazMat incidents are elusive to me. I know of 10-86 and 10-87 for foam ops, but the 10-80 doesn’t have anything conclusive from what I can find. As of now, I believe it ranges from No-Code to Code 2, but I’ve found older...

    FDNY EMS Priority Levels

Just to clarify on that, would you get everything on the matrix for all 3 MCI categories as the base, then make decisions based on what you can see and what you’re being told by your crews?

    FDNY EMS Priority Levels

Yeah, these kinds of logistics are unheard of up here on the prairies. We’ve got 6 (technically 7) hospitals citywide, 3 are urgent care and 3 (technically 4, because 1 includes the only children’s hospital province-wide afaik and has a separate pediatric ER) ERs, so it’s pretty cut and dry that...
