NTSB says a go-around was attempted but throttles were then set to idle and brakes applied.

I would assume 200 knots is above V1, why not firewall the throttles, pull back on the yoke and attempt a touch and go?

@ 0900 Boston Fire transmitted Box 5462 for a building fire at 259 N. Beacon Street in the Brighton section of the city. Arriving units found heavy fire in a 2.5 story multi-unit occupied building resulting in the second alarm being transmitted. A/O @ 1100.

@ 0200 Box 3724 was struck for reports of a building fire @ 596 Metropolitan Ave in the Hyde Park section. First companies found heavy fire in the front of a 2.5 single family dwelling and struck a second alarm followed by a third. Info from BSA FB page.
