Fireman Tully died as a result of injuries sustained while operating at an automatic alarm.
Fireman Bernard Tully of Engine 302 collapsed and died at a small basement storeroom fire in Woodrow Wilson Vocational High School. He was fifty years old and a member of the Department since June 1, 1935. Married, he was the father of three children. (from "The Last Alarm" by Boucher, Urbanowicz and Melahn, 2007)
