In the early morning hours of Thursday, November 23rd, 2023, the Long Beach Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a house fire on Harding Avenue off East Walnut Street. Firefighters put one hand line into operation for a fire in the attached garage of a two-story private dwelling. The main body of fire was quickly extinguished and all occupants [pets included] made it safely out of the residence. The cause of the fire is under investigation and all fire department units were under the command of Long Beach Chief of Department Ray [231]. (Credit K2M)
