Reported House Fire 12 Saddle Ridge Rd - Old Westbury
2 1/2 story PD 10,600 sq ft in size.
Roslyn engine 592 reports column of smoke in the distance 13:19
Roslyn Chief 2nd alarm on arrival - 13:21
Cmd reports Hvy Fire within home (mansion)
Has a long lay up the driveway and will require inline pumping with two engines - 13:22
Cmd advising to keep driveway open and supply lines to the side as he needs two TL's at the house.
Cmd reporting Hvy Fire in the attic, they have 2 LSO and 1 TL - has two engines dropping a line to feed a 2nd TL via inline pumping. Primary searches neg 13:47
Cmd requesting an additional engine to the scene (Syosset) 13:50
Cmd requesting gas utility company to step it up - may have a gas fed fire 13:56
Cmd PD's heavy tow truck for an engine struck in the mud 13:57
Cmd transmit a 3rd alarm with all units to the scene plus 1 additional truck above that. Staging will be on Horseshoe Rd.
Cmd reports gas source has been identified (propane) and has been isolated - request an additional FAST to scene. 14:07
