Receiving calls, C-6 reports smoke showing from the roof of a six story building. Second alarm transmitted. Heavy fire knocked down, 3 lines stretched and operating, primary searches @ 1414.

It's either 1287 or 1283, not sure where the split is. 1236 is over by the wharf on the other side of 1A, not close. May have initially went out as Battery Street by mistake, which is over there.

All-out on Box 1236 by A/C Alverez. That was the original box transmitted by FAO but they were receiving calls so it was amended over the air to 1287.

If you go to Boston firefighter Local 718 FB page you will see the sequence of events which may help explain the difference in box transmitted vs actual location. but the box I listed was the box transmitted by FAO.
