BC13 – Smoke showing 2nd floor of a 2 Story row dwelling, 2&2 in service.

BC13 – MBFKD, opening up walls and ceilings, all occupants are accounted for, still 2&2.

Philly still often only uses 2 & 2 when in reality more units are operating. The IAFF Local needs to do something about this they are shooting themselves in the foot. Philly has great firefighters and is a great fire department, but they need to take control of this under reporting of what units are working at fires. Captain Bob Rainey FDNY Engine 26 retired.

Capt, this has been like that for as long as I remember. Once our fire communications hears that the entire box is in service then a D.C. is dispatched who then takes command of the fire ground and a lot of B.C.'s don't like that.
