Foxwoods Casino reopens after fire at steakhouse

Crews are responding to a fire at a steakhouse inside Foxwoods Casino.

3 firefighters taken to hospital for evaluation after fire at Foxwoods' Grand Pequot Tower

Officials said the fire broke out at Burke Prime Steakhouse. Multiple departments responded and three firefighters were taken to the hospital for evaluation.

A list of some of the companies that responded: Mashantucket Pequot FD, North Stonington FD, Ledyard, Gales Ferry, Sub Base FD, Poquonnock Bridge, City of Groton, Pawcatuck,, Norwich,, Preston and Westerly (RI). Some of the relocators: Wequetequock, Pawcatuck and Ashaway (RI). Canteens from Montville and Providence (RI). At least 8 EMS units.

A massive response.
I know from Norwich Battalion 1, Squad A, and Truck 1 responded about 9:00 pm. About an hour later Battalion 1 requested reserve Engine 4 for additional manpower.
Also Yantic Engine 33 and Taftville Tower 25 responded.

Old Mystic FD was requested mutual aid to Foxwoods at 8:20 pm and sent Squad 62 and Rescue 67
Ledyard FD sent unit R-13
Westerly, RI FD sent Engine 1 with Car 31 at 9:56 pm

But as "johnd248" aka "Johnny D" posted there were numerous other fire departments that responded.

The call came in roughly at 20:01. We got to Grand Pequot Tower roughly 3 minutes later. I was the IC, with me and only 5 members on duty.

Here is what mutual aid came in from what I remember.

Mashantucket - Group 4 on duty: F-48 - shift commander / IC (me), Engine 2 (with 3), Tower 1 (with 2). Call back Group 3 - F-38 (initial interior Ops) and crew staffed Engine 1 & Service 1, Department Call Back (Groups 1 & 2) Engine 3 (spare), Hazmat 1, F-1 (chief,
Took over command) F-10 (deputy chief, took over ops)

Ledyard FC - 2 engines, one was redirected to Great Wolf Lodge for an elevator entrapment, Then came to the scene. R-1 (Chief), R-10 (deputy)

Gales Ferry - Engine & Ladder

North Stonington - engine, quint and rescue. Car 151 (deputy)

Preston - Engine

Sub Base - FAST unit (put to work),

Old Mystic - Engine and later their rescue, Chief G-6

Norwich - Engine & Tower, 2nd engine on 5th, Car 1, Battalion

Taftville - tower ladder

Yantic - Engine

Westerly - Engine

Pawcatuck - Engine

Wequetequock - Engine (cover company)

New London - Engine, Truck, 2nd on 5th, ambulance, A-10 (deputy chief)

City of Groton - Engine on 5th

Poquonock Bridge - Engine on 5th

American Ambulance - 3 rigs

Mystic River EMS - 1 Ambulance

Waterford - 1 Ambulance
