Who is this person?? Why the Long Island PD?

I looked into it and its really fucked up

Group of kids were urbexxing the bridge, 16 y/o male fell, his friends left him basically to die and took his phone, didnt call anyone. It was still more then light out when he fell.

They were talking about this in a urbex groupchat and I guess from there somebody called 911, ie why lynbrook PD had it.

Wow that is absolutely terrible. Why wouldn’t they call
For help right away?

*and urbexing is urban exploration. I had to google that!! LOL

Hopefully they’ll be able to identify and charge the friends. Leaving your 16 year old buddy to die does not bode well for future behavior.

My apologies if you misunderstood my response. That so f***ing horrible that friends would leave anybody to die, let alone not even call 911. Completely disgusting. There’s something very wrong is our youngest generation.
Gotcha

I used (in the late '50s and early '60s) take either the LIRR from Lynbrook to Penn Station or Bee Line bus to Jamaica (then to the "E" train) to get to high school & college. Some of the time I'd ride in my father's car to his job at Queens Boro Hall on Queens Blvd. What took the most time was my father's car . . . about an hour, mostly stopped on the Van Wyck. But the bus/subway was about 40 minutes to get to Queensboro Plaza, and about 39 minutes by LIRR to Penn Station (if any of that helps).

As to affluence, back then Lynbrook was a working class, middle class community, not affluent. Yes, there were a few "rich people" there, but they were few and far between. I couldn't say what it's like today.

I was just wondering because I know how kids from more affluent areas think they can get away with stunts like this without any repercussions,,,,just my personal opinion.
