Just over a week ago, Lt. Robert Sisto who was a firefighter with 319 and a lieutenant with 252 passed away. He had been living outside Ocala FL since retiring in the late '70s after 20 years on the job. He is survived by 3 adult children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. My cousin Bobby was a great guy and he will be missed.

I met Bob when l was buffing at 319. He was a great firefighter and funny guy.
Speaking of funny here's a great story about Bob. One tour after the 6x9 started E 319 relocated to E 252 ... After backing into 252
we went into the kitchen for some mud. There was a guy already sitting in the kitchen with a white tee shirt on. After saying hello and sitting down Bob looked at the alarm box running board on the wall.
Bob said It looks like (50) 1st..2nd..and 3rd
boxes. Looks like another slow company
like us.... Well the guy in the tee shirt got up and said " IM A DEPUTY CHIEF HERE IN THE 17TH DIV..... 252 DOES OVER 5000 RUNS A YEAR WITH THOSE BOXES. WELL THE KITCHEN GOT VERY QUIET AFTER THAT.
THANK GOD 252 GOT BACK 30 MINS LATER..... THE FUNNIEST PART IS BOB WAS ASSIGNED UFO TO 252 AND ENDED UP GETTING THE SPOT.
I was wondering if the deputy remember him.......LOL
