Island Park (Nassau) - Building Fire 1 Petit Place (Jordan's Lobster)

At 6:51pm last night the Long Beach Fire Department was alerted for an automatic Mutual Aid to Island Park Volunteer Fire Department for a report of a Building Fire at Jordan's Lobster.
Upon arrival units found heavy smoke and fire on both the first and second floors.
Engine 2344, Ladder 2372, Ambulance 2321 responded along with Chief John Marino and Assistant Chiefs DiGiacomo and Ray.
Engine 2344 took a hydrant down the block and supplied multiple hand lines into the building making an aggressive interior attack, members of Tower Ladder 2372 opened up interior ceilings and walls as well as the roof to expose hidden fire. Ambulance 2321 stood by at the scene in case of any injuries.
This Fire went to a 3rd Alarm assignment bringing in multiple Fire Departments.
Long Beach units operated for approximately 2 hours, 1 member was treated for minor injuries. (Courtesy LBFD)

The Island Park Fire Department led the response, with mutual aid from East Rockaway, Rockville Centre, Freeport, Lawrence-Cedarhurst, Long Beach, Lynbrook, Oceanside, Atlantic Beach Rescue and Point Lookout/Lido.

"This past Saturday around 6:48 p.m, The Island Park Fire Department was alerted for an Electrical Fire at Jordan's Lobster Farm.
Upon Arrival of 2nd Asst. Chief Donny Cardineau reported smoke showing and a signal 10 (Working Fire) was transmitted.
In a demand for additional resources, a 2nd and 3rd Alarms were quickly transmitted.
Restaurant was open at time of fire.
No injuries are reported at this time.
Fire under control within 70 minutes.
Fire Operations under the command 2nd Asst. Chief Cardineau.

City of Long Beach New York Fire Department
Point Lookout Lido FD
Oceanside NY Fire Department
East Rockaway Fire Department
Lynbrook Fire Department
Lawrence Cedarhurst FD
North Bellmore Fire Dept
Baldwin Fire Department
Rockville Centre Fire Department
Merrick Fire Department
Freeport Fire Department
Approximately 150 Firefighters on the scene.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by Office of the Fire Marshal - County of Nassau and @nassau County Police Arson/Bomb Squad"
