Looking back - do you remember

[memorymaster]

i believe thats herb albert and the tijuana brass record album

"Whipped Cream" is the album title.

In all actuality there was no Tijuana Brass so to speak. Studio musicians did the work and when Alpert did something live they imported some musicians to back him up. At the studio it was a group who were called "The Wrecking Crew" and backed more artists recording than we have time to list or read here.

I recall that being done to a 1960 Ward LaFrance pumper with success and sore arms and backs. lol

[Lt.Q L112]

E 5 did it to their 54 Mack when they were responding to the 23rd fire 10/17/1966 which allowed E18 to get in before 5, and we all know the outcome of that.

I caught the very end of the movie The Hot Rock with Robert Redford and a round nose Mack pumper goes by with 4 guys on the back step. It happened so fast didn't notice Co. #. Movie was from 72 or 73.
