    Doesn’t have to be a Chief giving the 10-60. If an Engine or Truck arrives on scene and is by themselves, THEY are the incident commander and can give a 10-60. The signal isn’t given until units arrive and assess the situation. Maybe the dispatcher can load the box, but any collapse response...

    Thats fine. Medics and all advanced training on the EMS side garners more wages does it not? The Fire side is trained appropriately to 99 percent of the medical level the basic EMT is.
