    Cap, you are correct however it's a double-edged sword. Until the public stops using EMS as a taxi service or a "back door" into the ER to get faster service, things won't change. If they don't get what they want then the lawsuits start, and the ball keeps rolling. It's the "all about me"...

    Back in the 60's and early 70's that building was mainly occupied by flight crews from JFK airport who were on layovers. The apartment(s) were rented by a group that had opposite schedules and alternated in its use.

    That's right Elmer, 39 was 34 before the merger. 39's current station was a fuel oil company garage. Thanks for jogging my feeble brain. lol

    Great photo of 128's old rig. Thank you. Also, if I'm not mistaken, 332's old quarters became EMS station 39 for a while before they too moved out to go to the former fuel oil truck garage on Pennsylvania Avenue. Is that correct or am I in "la la" land again?
