A little detective work: E251 was ahead of E209 in response order. That puts them in the Navy Yard. Date is pre-1941. Response card came from the directory book. Book was issued in 1925 and used until 1929. Conclusion: This is the response card from 1925.

In the 1989-1991 time frame, the apparatus floor of Bergen St was redone. R2 went to E222 apparently. There were also renovations to the FH in the same time frame, with the rig in a cage. Were these two separate events? How long was the cage used? Willy, is there a date on your photo?

That's what I thought. Jersey barriers, wooden pedestrian ramps, chain link fencing, demolition, pouring, curing time - it adds up. Wonder where they (E5) went?

Good point. Setting up and taking down a cage could take as long.

Just noticed that Engine 5 must have been relocated during June 2019 while their apron was re-poured. Where did they go and for how long?
