Boston has no Squrt units. This was an 1980's rebuild using a 1979 Sutphen HP chassis and the Squrt apparatus from one of the 2 units they had. Ran with the Tower unit as a 2 piece company.
I was told the reason E-10 was selected was the mayor's wife hated the color. The mayor and the department were not getting along and their residence was in E-10's district so to aggravate her they painted it.
