I have the code 3 Baltimore city Truck 10. It is one of the sharpest pieces in my collection. It compliments the Firehouse Expo collection as well. Well done Baltimore!
Four people were killed and four critically injured in an apartment fire in Milwaukee this morning. In addition approximately 30 people were rescued, either over ladders or dragged out by firefighters.
As you can see by my signature I am also a Vietnam vet. I will never forget the story of a Vietnamese pilot who landed his 0-1 Bird Dog aircraft on the deck of a carrier which had his family with him. We were the best that America had.
A 44 year old man has bee arrested and faces two counts of murder and aggravated arson. The fire had been extinguised when the garage collapsed critically injuring Captain Meyer who later died at the hospital. OFI and ATF officials determined that the suspect had lit the contents of a trash bin...

On this date LtCol James Doolittle led a force of 16 B-25 bombers from the deck of the USS Hornet to bomb the Japanese capital of Tokyo. Although the raid cause minor damage it convinced them that their homeland was not safe from attack. They then drew up plans to attack and occupy the island of...
a little more history on E-12 and 17. E-12 relocated as you say to E-107 on 1-17-64, then to E-95 on 8-13-65. Dis-banded 12-14-65. Re-organized on 11-1-1981 @ Crash Station 2 @ O'Hare. E-17 dis-banded 1-16-1968 .Because it was no longer an active company its designation was then used in "Backdraft".

There is a post on YouTube about 8-9 minutes long that illustrates the delays that are now commonplace in the fire service. And also how the equity partners are involved.
I believe there was a dedicated CW FDNY channel. Most of the transmissions were for the radio man for "Ladder 5 no MDT" but there would also be transmissions for extra alarm fires.
Lately it seems that monitoring FDNY is a hit or miss proposition, more miss than hit. Both the OpenMHZ and the Broadcastify sites leave a lot to be desired. Some boros are missing, like Queens and Manhattan, as well as the Citywide site. I hope that things will return to sense of normalcy soon.
