It's great to see these pieces of firefighting history preserved. The Superpumper was a very impressive unit to see in operation and the whole system was something else. I wonder if they will ever get a Satellite to go along with the Superpumper and Supertender.

A real shame since American La France built some good rigs through the years before 1980. An example was the rearmount assigned to 732/176. One of the chauffeurs in the Tin House said it was the best rig he had ever operated.
