    Rundown of units at 9-11

Very Important one that should be done, for me I have been attempting to Track Down Video, & attempt to give a detailed record for pieces of apparatus which responded that day still with the Department in the fleet. Only wish I could've started sooner, as now most are gone. I have a few photos...

    New Seagraves

Satellite Units are assigned on 2nd alarms and higher and I’m assuming have a fraction of the milage any actual piece does for ems runs or for going to work at a fire. They aren’t used as frequently as for example an Engine, Ladder or Rescue. Satellites do not go out the door for most runs if...

    New Seagraves

I believe that was referring to the age of Rigs being used frontline. If I remember correctly it was like 11 years and 364 days or something close along the lines of that. After that period of time as a piece in frontline use if in worthy shape and not a lemon piece it goes into the spare pool...

    4/18/23 Manhattan 10-60 Box 0086

No from the preliminary looks of what I'm seeing on Citizen it, it seems the top level of the parking garage collapsed due to the weight of all the crammed cars they got up there. The Building looks extremely old and dilapidated. **I could be wrong as its still very early to determine the...

    * There does not seem to be any explosion as originally reported most likely I assume the sound from the actual collapse occurring.

Units In Spare Pool as of (3/3/23)

It does go back into the spare fleet, SL02003 was being used by Mt. Vernon for a decent amount of time as a loner and I caught it the following year being used as a spare by Ladder 24.

Units In Spare Pool as of (3/3/23)

Anybody know the explanation for why the department completely stopped providing new rigs with Pa300's after 2004? From what I remember being told it was because companies started installing mechanical sirens in-house but they issue was they drew to much power so they began to use the EQ2B as a...
