That isolated section of Windsor Terrace is like an Island with E 240 operating alone all the time. Lived there through my childhood and first 10years of married life.
Ouch, this brings back memories! I broke two vertibrae at that box after a fall. Weird part is the Box # 851 was my also my badge # and it happened on Jan 12th (1/12) at L 112. After a summer off I came back to full duty. 😄
I remember being ABC within the first year of being promoted to Captain. It is a completely different feeling being outside the building or incident than leading your company. It’s like watching a game from the stands rather than being in the game.

I see this as another stupid law that will probably lead to owners looking to find other ways (arson) to get rid of properties. Remember the 70’s when properties were burned because they were worth more for insurance dollars than try to sell them
Typical S.I. 2nd alarm. I know I will get the ‘ you can always turn them back’ but a 20x40 two story frame with no exposure problems seems overkill. Plus you’re moving a dozen companies to relocate.
It wouldn’t, it would just take away the discussion of parity within the same department. Separating the departments would eliminate that and keep the EMS pay scale, in my opinion.
