    EMS was always classified as "Hard To Fill" (wonder why) and there was no residency requirement. I don't know what the rule is today.

    I was told that there were 475 EMS personnel who called on sick during the length of the storm. I have no way of confirming such, but, if so, that really shoots down their striving for pay increases, better working conditions, etc. They shot the whole service right in the ... with that move...
