You are 100% correct, also knew box locations when they came in and what the assignments were. Most at the Bklyn CO were Buffs.

Richie Passed away several years ago. I worked at the Brooklyn CO when he was assigned. We all assisted in training. Great times and good memories. At least one of his sons is OTJ now or might be retired by now. No idea where is assigned, last I knew, years ago he was assigned to Ladder 148.
