Blitz nozzles are made with a 3 inch intake. In the FDNY, where they are used, are they fed with a 2 1/2 line or do companies carry 3 inch hose specifically for use with a Blitz nozzle or do they ise a 3 1/2 inch line to supply the nozzle ?

Peopel throw lithium ion batteries away in their recycling and soetimes it ignites in the recycling plants. A big problem for those plants.

The picture from Google maps is incorrect. The fire building actually looks like this from the Advance. I made the same mistake looking at Google maps.

I wasn't planning to go to the fire but I keep a record of all SI working fires and one of the things I track is the GPS location using Google Maps. Where the fire is of course makes a difference for the GPS location.

Is the fire East of the Expwy or West of the Staten Island Expwy and North or South of the West Shore Expwy ?
