Recall someone saying a few months (maybe a year or so?) that seeing 3 marine companies on 1 Incident is rare..well nows theres 5 on one lol.

Looks like the boat was going backwards, possibly lost power. People were up in the sails maybe trying to drop them. Alot of people hanging after the collision...

Given the astern speed I wonder if they lost throttle control while maneuvering to dock and it got locked in.

If crew were up in the rigging to strike and stow sails, which would be odd other than for show in confined waterways, they most certainly had a bad go of it for sure.

Regardless, that is quite a bit of highly tensioned line and heavy timber snapping and dropping onto what I assume were crowded decks. Looks like the tug Charles McAllister was there as an escort but may have not had a line on her.

Prayers for those injured.

Yea looks like the McAllister was trying to get infront (behind?) her.

Looks like they were moving astern off their dock to head out into the bay and lost throttle control. Not much room for error in the river.
