0948: E1, E8, E3, L1, Sq3, Bat2

0950: E4 became available & sent in, E3 to remain in service

0953: L1 "on scene, working fire"

0953: E3, Safety1, Bat4, Car6

0959: Bat2 "Primary/secondary searches complete & negative, 1 line in operation, Exp A: street, Exp B: similar detached, Exp C: yard, Exp D: similar detached, under control"

1002: Bat2 "fire out, holding 2 Engines/1 Ladder"

1052: Bat2 "command terminated, go through E1-A for anything needed"
 
What the hell is going on down there in Va beach? Seems like alot of work.

yeah, thats pretty good actually. All I see is Va Beach, Va Beach, damn. Enjoy.
 
We get about 300-400 working fires a year, mostly single family dwellings & apartments. Hopefully, our neighboring Cities (Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Newport News, Hampton) will start posting their work once they become more aware of this site.

I got a friend from Chesapeake, they got some nice Quantums now. You know how busy they are?
 
Mainly American LaFrance Engines, a couple Pierce Quantum Engines,  4 Pierce rear-mounts,  2 Pierce rear-mount buckets, 1 American LaFrance mid-mount bucket, 1 Pierce tiller on order.
 
Seems like we can never stick with whatevers good for us. Usually we're given the same old tired reason; low bid.
 
It's the same everywhere I'm sure....got the same ol goats thats been on the apparatus committee that won't give up the power or listen to anybody else......although the new tiller coming to the 11 house is actually pretty close to what we wanted, of course when you tell them no bells whistles or chrome they doll em up and make em look like volly rigs...then complain about the $!!! ;D
