Question bout this Topic  Today I was hanging out at E242 and I noticed the door postion was not filled does that consist of a 10-14?

There is no more door position in any FDNY ENG (except for SQs).......b'bag aka king douce saw to that when he brought ALL ENGs down to 4 FFs.

With all Engines riding with four the 10-14 signal has been removed. It was implemented when an Engine that has 4 firefighters normally was assigned to a structural box, if 10-14 then another engine was assigned. If both 1st and 2nd due Engines had 5 then no 10-14 was used for acknowledgement of response just 10-4.
