  1999 Seagrave rearmounts were pretty durable compared to post-9-11 models. I only hope the next generation of Ferrara/Smeal rearmounts hold up as well, only time will tell...... :

Several previous posts have referred to the upcoming Ferrara ladders as having Smeal ladders.  The 100-foot four-section ladders might be described as "Smeal-type ladders," but they will be Ferrara ladders manufactured by Ferrara.
