I know there was talk of moving 112 to 222 many years ago. Was there ever any talk of placing a truck at 217, 218, 230, or 237? I know they're all single bay houses but so was 277.

Years ago they pulled out the second section of Engine 217 and tried to back in a rear mount. It was going to be Ladder 731.
There wasn’t enough room.

From Engine 216's 125th pamphlet it mentioned possibly putting 237 & 108 in a house together but of course that never happened

At one point there was an actual idea by HQ of putting 237 & 218 in a new FH around Moore & White St's...... also at the same time a plan for a new FH for 231...232...120 & BN*44 on Atlantic Ave around Georgia Ave near the LIRR Station......both FH plans only got as far as having a WNYF article written about the plans.
