Bloomfield...I used to live two blocks away back in the day! The home box was 573- Liberty Avenue and South Winebiddle Street. although they could have used 558- Osceola and Cypress Streets. Then, the running assignment was Engines 6, 8, 28, 8 Truck, BC 3, and Squads 3 and 8. Depending on who got out fast, everybody had a shot at being first due.

There was a tavern on the corner next to the box. Not infrequently, Entropychaser could be found inside consuming adult beverages- Iron City Beer- which was brewed a mere 16 blocks down Liberty Avenue next to the Pennsylvania Railroad main line tracks, particularly Thursday ten cent hot dog night.

The joint had a "Ladies Entrance" on the Winebiddle Street side. This allowed your mother to get to the family booths in the back without having
to go past the barflies on one side and the pinball machine, the juke box, and that electronic bowling device on the other.
