..........................mack Thank You excellent video of 287/136 & BN*46......136s rig must have been a piece of crap at the time (maybe a spare) as they are using 154s '53 ALF for the film......i have seen a lengthier version of this video which  shows 288also responding to this box along the Long Island Expwy which was heavily lined w/big trees back then....also in the lengthier version the HW used in the video appeared to be 288s even though the  rigs came out of Grand Ave.

  This video was probably made made in early 1955 after L136 lost their 1929 American LaFrance rig in a fatal accident with Rescue 4 in 1954. They must have received their 1955 FWD 75' wooden aerial rig right after this film was done. Engine 287 was using a 1939 Ward LaFrance 1000gpm pumper. The wrecked E209 rig was a 1937 Mack 1000gpm pumper.
