Those are some Classic Pictures from a Historic Time. Any of the TCU Engines ? There were four, I think. TCU 512, 513, 531, and 532. (?)

Just talking to one of our site members (svd---)  the other day about the TCUs. He was saying how TCU 512 ran out of Eng 94/Lad 48s qtrs. And TCU 513 ran out of Eng 45s Qtrs. No Ladder 58 at that time.

Whoiops... I had TCU-512 and TCU-513 reversed,  513 ran out of E-94 and 512 ran out of E-45

TCU 512 (Bx) @ E45, TCU 513 (Bx) @ E-94, TCU 531 (Bkn) @ E-225, TCU 712 @E82 later E85, TCU 731 @ L102, TCU 732 @ E277. Hope I am right!

531 was originally w/225 till 225 moved to Lincoln Av when 332 was organized on Liberty Av then 531 was there during the operational hrs ....years before the TCUs ENG*10 from Manhattan responded out of Liberty Av w/225 during evening hrs......TCU 732 which was stored in 286s qtrs & was operational from 277s qtrs then later from the Tin House w/232 (RIP).

Just curious TCU units 512, 513, 531. What kind of apparatus, was their job description the same as 731, 732, etc.

There was a put-together model kit by AMT or Revell or one of those outfits years ago. It was the ALF rear mount that has been pictured here. C'mon, you guys remember putting it together with that "Testors" glue.

I brought this kit and it SUCKED. Bad instrictions, horrible decals (one total sheet) If anyone wants a GREAT FDNY model, well look for The Firefighter by Revell. A great model It has the tower nozzle application. It will cost u.l
