i noticed that there are differences in the cabs of the 1993/1994 seagrave engines. some have grilles and others don't is there any reason they were ordered this way?

The majority of 1993 rigs were on the Seagrave JB chassis.  Later 1993 engines, 1994 engines, and 1994 aerials were on the Seagrave Marauder tilt-cab chassis.  I think 94 was the only year the Marauder cab was ordered.

What about the 1994 & '95 FWD (single front stabilizer) Aerialscopes? ??? ???

All 12 of the 1992 Seagrave pumpers were the fixed-cab JB "Commander" 1000gpm/500gwt units (SP9201 - SP9212).

The 80 1993 Seagrave pumpers were split up with 72 being the fixed-cab JB "Commander" (65 1000gpm/500gwt (SP9301 - SP9327, SP9335 - SP9348, SP9356 - SP9378, and SP9380), and 7 1000gpm/750gwt (SP9349 - SP9355)), and 8 being the tilt-cab TB "Marauder" (6 1000gpm/500gwt (SP9328 - SP9333), and 2 1000gpm/500gwt High-Pressure (SP9334H and SP9379H)).

The 16 1994 Seagrave pumpers were split up with 10 being the fixed-cab JB "Commander" 1000gpm/500gwt (SP9406 - SP9415), and 6 being the tilt-cab TB "Marauder" model (5 1000gpm/500gwt High-Pressure (SP9401H - SP9405H), and 1 2000gpm/500gwt (SP9416)).

The 2 1996 Seagrave pumpers were fixed-cab JB "Commander" 1000gpm/500gwt units (SP9601 - SP9602).
