Ladder 82 should have been sent in by dispatch and not told by them to continue to the rock. They were going for pss training, and this box is their first due box. 82 truck is in an area with maybe 1 building where they might need a bail out bag. In staten island their are such a limited amout of companies available and to turn down the request of the first due truck to take in a confirmed fire in their first due area is obsurd. Dispatch should be ashamed of themselves, and they are lucky no lives were lost!
