@1651: Batt. 42 assigned to the second alarm, no designation as yet.

@1705: Div. 8: 4 handlines in operation, fire throughout original fire building, fire has been knocked down, chasing pockets of fire, primary search in the exposures and fire building are building are negative, still doubtful.  Fire duration is 28 minutes.

@1716: Car 4D is 10-84 at the second alarm.

@1720: Batt. 1 relocating to Batt. 42.

@1721: Engine 309 acting Engine 247 is 10-8.

@1726: Div. 8: secondary searches complete and negative, fire is probably will hold by order of Assistant Chief Pfeiffer, Car 4D.

Engine 235 relocated to Engine 228; Ladder 146 relocated to Ladder 119.

@1729: Div. 8: transmit 10-41 code 1.

@1730: Command Tactical Unit is 10-84.

@1733: Div. 8: By order of Asst. Chief Pfeiffer, fire is under control; fire duration is 55 minutes.  Special call an additional truck.

Special called 2 BCs on the 2nd alarm because theyre putting the safety BC to work per Division 8.
Also the box was 4 2 rescue & squad as Brooklyn advised BC40 that they had a call from offduty members stating a possible working fire.
