Maybe somebody can help me. I"ve always wondered what is the difference of The Safety Battalion and the Battalion assigned as the Safety Officer. In this case Batt. 48. Thanks.

No body can help you.  But in this case, I believe they assign a BC as Safety Coordinator due to the fact they will get in before the Safety Batt.  I addition, the Safety Batt. might not be available.  I do agree that once the Safety Batt. is on the scene it is apparent duplication.
