In 1942 during America's darkest hours it needed a hero, some good news. On April 18, 1942, Jimmy Doolittle led 16 brave aircrews on a raid against Japanese cities. Damage was slight but the psycological damage was great. Sadly today none of those brave aircrews are with us, a slow hand salute to you sirs.

Paul never finished the ride, he was stopped by British officers, detained, and escorted back to Lexington. Only Samuel Prescott made it to Concord.
