Broadway at Pike St, Car 13, AC Jensen reports there is correction on the sizeup.  The supermarket on the 1st floor is 50x250, with 4 story tenements above that are 30x50.  We have 2 tower ladders setup in operation, a 3rd being set up, 3 handlines in operation from the exterior, we still have heavy fire in the supermarket.  Transmit a 4th alarm.

FC: Progress Report for the 4th alarm Box 212, the address 117 East Broadway at Pike St, that's a fire in a supermarket 50x250, at this time Car 4 Adam, AC Sweeney reports we have 4 tower ladders in  operation.  2 handlines stretched into Exposure 4A with slight extension.  Still have a heavy smoke condition throughout.  Primaries in Exposure 4A are negative.  There's steel plating throughout the supermarket so we're having difficulty conducting searches and battling the fire, fire is still Doubtful.  Transmit a 10-41 code 1 (Suspicious Fire in Occupied Structure), heavy fire on arrival.

FC: Be advised at the 4th alarm we have a Collapse Zone set up around the Exposure 2 wall of the 4 story tenement, which is Pike St.

DC1: We're at the scene of the 4th alarm, we just had a total collapse of the 4 story building.  The area was cordoned off, ConEd personnel are all accounted for.  The gas was shut down, there is no fire.  We have no injuries at this time.  Special call a truck to respond.  TL17 is conducting searches in the building next door, TL115 was taking up but we called them back.

Looking at old assignment card circa 1959 looks like 8 or so of the engines are closed, shows how times have changed, E-17,31,12,13,27,204,32 and 30 all are gone. No E-4 or E-10 shown on box card, not sure if they were around then.
