Ledyard and Gales Ferry FDs were dispatched to a reported structure fire at 1363 Baldwin Hill Road. Report of heavy smoke in the area and possible flames visible.
First arriving units reported heavy smoke from structure and requested mutual aid from Sub Base FD and Poquonnock Bridge FDs. An engine from Laurel Hill (Norwich) FD was later special called. Old Mystic FD sent one engine to Ledyard for station coverage.
