Yes pretty accurate, E-21 is on every box card it seems!

I love the Boston Fire Dept. Great history, great tradition, great firefighters. One of the best F.D. Books I ever read is "Busy as Hell" "1 & 2" about the war years in Boston. Other great books, including many by the Late great Leo Stapelton who was Chief of Dept. and Fire Commissioner of Boston are a must read for every buff and/or firefighter. Captain Bob Rainey FDNY Engine 26 retired

If you can find them, and I do mean if, Bill Noonan did a series of photo books with all B/w photos. "Smoke Showing", "Wooden Sticks and Iron Men", "Flames and Faces", "Jakes under Fire". Good luck finding them.

Go online and you can get both "Busy as Hell" books without too much problem. I got both about 6 months ago. Try the Boston F.D. Museum They should be able to help you. Now if I can only find a place to buy a Boston F.D. "Mack Rescue Pumping Unit" Model

Originally from Boston so I have them. May I suggest "Returning to Quarters" by Richard Connelley a former BFD captain. It is a history of Boston's firehouses.
